Vaper is an electronic logbook and practice management tool for anaesthetists. It works on Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) running PalmOS.
Vaper was designed and written by a practising anaesthetist. It is simple and intuitive to use and includes many features to speed up entry of patient details in a busy clinical practice.

Vaper allows rapid data entry of:

- Autogeneration of billing codes
- On-the-fly calculation of fees, rebates and patient gaps
- Financial quotes
- Preoperative assessment — including detailed history and examination
- Aids to assist clinical assessment of patients
- Recording of blood test results and other investigations
- Checklists to ensure patients are adequately informed
- Ability to record patient consents (including signatures)
